Waterproof Mascara
Choosing a mascara that bests suits you is not quite as simple as you thought. There are a few thing to consider. The fact that there are so many brands on the market today does not make it easier either. First of all stay clear off all mascaras that are not waterproof. You get a far worse result when you use a non-waterproof mascara than you would if had used a waterproof one. Non-waterproof mascaras do not stay on for very long and they don't look as good in the first plave either. That's because the color cannot harden on your eyelashes as it needs to be removable without a solvent. Waterproof mascaras have a different chemical structure that makes the color stick to your lashes and add volume and length.
Another thing to that is important is the color. Most women think that they should choose the color according to the color of their eyelashes. Basically all women have black eyelashes and they choose black accordingly. That's where some women go wrong. If you are blond you should reserve black mascara for special occasions and use brown or dark blond color during the day. Women with darker hair and skin color should do the opposite. Use black during the day and reserve lighter colors for evenings.
Okay, now you have chosen a waterproof mascara and the right color for you. Now it's time to choose the correct type of mascara. Basically there are two types of mascara. The kind that makes your lashes look longer and the type that makes your lashes look thicker. If you have long thin lashes then you obviously choose the one that makes them look thicker. For short and thick lashes choose the one that makes them look thicker. That's how you choose the best waterproof mascara for you.
